Leticia Ramirez graduated in 2009 from the University of Texas at Arlington with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as registered nurse at Baylor University Medical Center in the Cardiothoracic/Heart and Lung Transplant Intensive Care Unit for 5 years before receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2014. She became Board Certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and joined NTCC in 2014. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Association of Critical Care Nursing, and the North Texas Nurse Practitioner Association. She is certified in Left Ventricular Assist Devices and Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and enjoys all aspects of cardiovascular surgical recovery.
